Internal Stain Techniques & Applications to Achieve a Natural Look

October 18, 2018 - October 19, 2018
$800.

Course Description

All-ceramic anterior restorations are technically challenging in esthetic dentistry for both technicians and dentists due to the distinctive characteristics and appearance of a natural tooth. Among anterior restorations, the single central incisor restoration is the most difficult to match esthetically with a healthy adjacent incisor.

Utilizing proper internal stain technique prior to baking will improve the physical characteristics of the all-ceramic crown to achieve the optimal simulation of natural enamel and dentin. The lecture presents various fabrication techniques and important principles of color reproductions and the benefits of using internal stain to achieve superior esthetics in anterior fabrications.
