Understanding the anatomy\, physiology and potential pathology of the TMJ and the risks associated with each case is fundamental for the evaluation\, diagnosis and treatment of occlusal problems. Many have taken high-level continuing education courses but we still struggle to implement effective protocols for treating the patient with TMJ disorders\, facial pain and advanced interdisciplinary care. In this Global Diagnosis Mastery course we present a year-long study club which focuses on this topic to help make you the “go to” expert and provide predictable and stable care for your patients. Join us for what we know will be one of the best experiences in your continuing education journey. \nDr Jim McKee has a restoratively based practice with an emphasis on occlusion and temporomandibular joint disorders in Downers Grove\, Illinois. Jim is a published author who has lectured national and internationally for over 25 years. Jim provides a new perspective on occlusion and TM joints that helps increase the predictability of occlusal\, orthodontic\, restorative\, orthognathic and airway treatment options for both the patient and the dentist. He is the founder of the Chicago Study Club program and has extensive experience in directing study clubs in the United States and Canada. He is a Resident Faculty member at Spear Education in Scottsdale\, Arizona. Jim is a past-president of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the American Equilibration Society. \nDr. Jim Otten graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1981. He completed a General Practice and Hospital Dentistry Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Leavenworth\, Kansas in 1982. He studied at Dawson Academy\, Piper Education and at the Pankey Institute before serving as Lead Faculty and Provost for Curriculum Development. He also serves as Visiting Faculty at Spear Education in the Advanced Occlusion Curriculum . He has lectured both nationally and internationally on Joint Based Occlusion\, TMD/Occlusal Splint Therapy\, He is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists\, member of AES and the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry among others. \nREGISTRATION

This will be a rare opportunity to spend quality time in a study club type setting with one of the most inspiring and successful women in dentistry. \nDr. Lee Ann Brady lives in Phoenix\, Arizona with her husband Kelly and three children Sarah\, Jenna and Kyle. She owns Desert Sun Smiles Dental Care\, a private restorative practice in Glendale\, Arizona. Outside of her private practice\, Dr. Brady is the Director of Education for The Pankey Institute\, recognized for hands-on education programs focused on occlusion and restorative dentistry. She is the founder and lead curator of Restorative Nation\, a supportive learning community for dentists. \nIn 2010 she was recognized by Dental Products Report as one of the “Top 25 Women Dentists in the U.S.” in the category of dental educators. \nIn 2005 she joined the non-profit Pankey Institute as their first female resident faculty member. Within a year she was promoted to Clinical Director and held this position until November of 2008. In 2008 she was asked to join Dr. Frank Spear in the formation of Spear Education and the expansion of his curriculum. As the Executive VP of Clinical Education at Spear Education\, she managed the development and delivery of all programs in addition to her teaching responsibilities. In 2011 she left Spear Education to focus more on patient care and hands-on education. \nDr. Brady is on the editorial board of Inside Dentistry\, DentalTown magazine and The Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry.  She has published articles in Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA)\, General Dentistry\, Dentistry Today\, Seattle Study Club Journal\, Oral Health Journal (Canada)\, DentistryIQ\, Women Dentist Journal\, Inside Dentistry\, DentalTown Magazine\, Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry Dental Practice Report\, Private Dentistry (UK)\, Journal of Dental Technology\, and other print and web publications. \nShe is a frequent presenter at local\, state\, national and international dental meetings such as the ADA Annual Session\, AACD Annual Meeting\, Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting\, Chicago Midwinter Meeting\, Texas Dental Association Annual Meeting\, Yankee Dental Congress and Florida National Dental Congress. She is a Guest Presenter at the Pankey Institute and teaches Continuing Education for the University of Florida College of Dentistry and University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. \nDr. Brady earned her D.M.D. degree from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. \nBeing a lifelong learner\, she dedicates countless hours to studying and understanding occlusion\, restorative dentistry and dental materials performance.
